What are the school dates for the next year? (2009 - 2010)

 When are the exam dates for next year?
(2009 - 2010)

Year 9 SATS are held during the first week in may.
GCSE exams are held from the middle of May to the end of June.
Other modular exams are also held throughout the year, for example, in Mathematics, Science, Health and Social Care and Leisure and Tourism.

Please note GCSE exam dates are set by the exam board not the school and cannot be moved. A full exam timetable will be available on the website when the actual dates are released.

Will the school take responsibility if my child loses his/her mobile phone whilst in school?

The school recommends that all electronic and expensive items are not brought in to school. If they are and they go 'missing' in any way, the school does not accept any responsibility.

  
We often hear on the national news that schools no longer run sporting teams. Is this the case at winterhill?
