Home Testing: Rapid Lateral Flow Testing & Case Updates (COVID-19):
All in school lateral flow testing (rapid asymptomatic testing) has now taken place. Testing has now moved to home testing twice weekly with kits provided by school.
Please ensure testing is completed twice weekly (preferably prior to coming to school) with negative results logged via our online form and positive via the school number alongside the NHS track and trace platform.
As per the Government's announcement yesterday, Tuesday 6th April, face coverings in schools are to remain in place within classrooms and all inside areas as a precautionary measure when students return after the Easter break on Monday, 12th April. Therefore, please ensure you have your face covering with you at all times and that it is on before you enter the school site.
The government findings outlined that 'this cautious approach will help limit the risk of transmission and enable continued monitoring of the effect of school returns, as twice weekly testing is established and embedded in routines.'
An update is expected during step 3 of the easing of restrictrictions which will be no earlier than the 17th May. All changes will be confirmed with one week’s notice and all other safety measures will remain in place, including regular asymptomatic testing, group bubbles, increased hygiene measures and ventilation.

MyChildAtSchool [MCAS] is a portal enabling parents to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser or App. This facility allows exclusive access to the child's Attendance, Assessment and Behaviour whenever the parent/carer wishes.
As well as student performance data, the portal also provides general useful information about school such as the Academic Calendar and Announcements, we are also looking to roll out Parents evening booking via MCAS.
