Home Testing: Rapid Lateral Flow Testing & Case Updates (COVID-19):
All in school lateral flow testing (rapid asymptomatic testing) has now taken place. Testing has now moved to home testing twice weekly with kits provided by school.
Please ensure testing is completed twice weekly (preferably prior to coming to school) with negative results logged via our online form and positive via the school number alongside the NHS track and trace platform.
The majority of control measures, such as enhanced hygiene, cleaning and ventilation remain in place across school.
The main change in government guidance relates to the use of face coverings.
Therefore, from Monday 17th of May the wearing of face coverings for students, in all
circumstances, becomes optional. NB. The guidance no longer recommends the use of face coverings in any settings for students, particularly classrooms.
The wearing of face coverings for staff is also optional, though in classroom settings where the teacher is teaching from the front, the use of face coverings is not advised. NB. The guidance only recommends the use of face coverings for staff and other adults in communal and high traffic areas where social distancing between adults is not possible. They are no longer recommended for use in classrooms.

MyChildAtSchool [MCAS] is a portal enabling parents to view their child's academic performance in real-time via a web browser or App. This facility allows exclusive access to the child's Attendance, Assessment and Behaviour whenever the parent/carer wishes.
As well as student performance data, the portal also provides general useful information about school such as the Academic Calendar and Announcements, we are also looking to roll out Parents evening booking via MCAS.
