Remote Learning:

Parental Feedback

As ever, the relationships between school, parents and our wider community are extremely important to us at Winterhill School, especially during such challenging times for us all.

As school closure now continues due to the extended lockdown we are all experiencing, below are a series of questions we would like parents / carers to consider regarding school communication and remote learning. We want to ensure that our provision continues to support your children to be successful in their home learning, and therefore, any feedback would be much appreciated.

Please email any feedback on the questions below to: parentalfeedback@winterhill.org.uk

  1. Have you received a range of communication regarding school closure and remote learning? e.g. Clear updates on school closure, home learning expectations, support in accessing Google Classroom ect.,

  2. Which method of receiving school communication has been the most important and most useful to you and your family during this time e.g. facebook, website, email, online letters and updates from school?

  3. Have you / your child found the Google Classroom platform easy to navigate?

  4. If you have experienced any issues with accessing work for your child, have you received timely support?

  5. What are your thoughts regarding the work set by teachers for your child?

  6. As this is significant change to learning, how is your child feeling about their remote learning journey?

  7. Are there any suggestions you would like to make regarding the remote learning platform?
