Please can you congratulate the Year 9 Boys football team after winning the Rotherham Schools Cup. This is the second year the boys have won the trophy, after beating Aston 2-1 in a cracking final! At half time the boys were down 1 - 0 but thanks to Cole Oxley's first goal, the boys gained more confidence and really came into their own. Cole then went on to score a SECOND goal which sealed the deal for our lads!

We nearly had a double celebration, however the Year 9 netball team were narrowly defeated by Aston in the final.

The girls had a semi final to play first against Wath school. They WON this after the game going into extra time. The girls then had 8 mins to prepare themselves for their first eve Rotherham Schools final. They were so determined and never gave up - again the game was neck and neck. It was only in the last few minutes of the game that Aston pulled ahead of us and eventually won the game. Although I hate losing, myself and Lucy couldn't of been any more prouder of the girls - they gave it their all and each and every one of them worked their socks off.

Finally the Year 8 netball team were also in action - this is the second year running this team have made finals day, which in itself is a fantastic achievement. The girls fought hard until the very end but unfortunately were beaten by Aston.
