At Winterhill School we are committed to ensuring that all students are treated equally and protected against discrimination on the basis of Special Educational Needs.  If a student requires adaptations or support in order to meet their educational needs the Admissions Team consults with the SENCO to ensure these are put in place.

 

In the case of a student with a Statement or EHC Plan, the Headteacher and SENCO will liaise with parents/carers and the Local Authority SEN Assessment Team to determine if we can meet the needs of the student in line with statutory requirements.
