Safeguarding at Winterhill
At Winterhill, we take our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our students, very seriously.
Our ethos is clear, and we work tirelessly to give our students an environment where everyone feels safe and are respected, valued and fully supported.
Our designated safeguarding team, make the welfare of our students their priority. However, it is also the responsibility of all adults to safeguard our young people.
To ensure this happens, all staff are involved in regular safeguarding training sessions.
Lead by our safeguarding team, we work together to uphold our safe environment, identify any concerns early, and share information to ensure well-informed and timely actions can be taken when required.
